Saturday Night Live Announces Next Three Hosts

After a disappointing run with Jim Parsons and Lena Dunham after the Olympics, Lorne Michaels and the Saturday Night Live team have come to their senses and booked in three comically adept and very talented people to host the long-running sketch show.

Studio 8H will on March 29th welcome back the legendary Louis C.K., who hosted last season on the first episode since Hurricane Sandy caused havoc.  His natural comedic ability, his awkward charm, and pure talent garnered him an Emmy nomination for the show (which was one of his nine Emmy nominations last year, including for his show Louie and his stand-up special Oh My God).  He will be appearing with musical guest Sam Smith.

The following Saturday on April 5th, Anna Kendrick will make her debut on the show with musical guest Pharrell. Kendrick has already been nominated for an Oscar and a Tony, so getting an Emmy nomination for hosting SNL is definitely in her wheelhouse.

Finally, on April 12th, Seth Rogen will make his third appearance hosting the show. The last two episodes he hosted were in 2007 and 2009, which seems like an eternity ago, so it’s about time the lovable stoner returns to Rockerfeller Center.

Saturday Night Live returns on NBC on March 29th, and will air for three straight weeks with hosts C.K., Kendrick and Rogen.
