Get a first look at the newest Catwoman!

FOX has been developing a pilot for Gotham, based on the DC Comics characters. The series will serve as a prequel to the Batman we know, and will be centered on detective James Gordon, played by Ben McKenzie, who is later known as Commissioner Gordon in the comic book run.

Based off of recent stills from filming, it is clear that we will recognize characters from the series at a younger age, like Catwoman and a young Bruce Wayne.

Catwoman (or perhaps Catgirl at that age?) will be played by the young actress Camren Bicondova, who also was a dancer on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew.

The picture gives us an idea of her costume, and if we are basing it on first impressions, it’s not exactly the most visually pleasing.

Take a look at some of the other shots on set, including Bruce Wayne presumably on the infamous night he loses his parents, and Catwoman in costume.

Are you excited for Gotham or is it to soon to tackle the Batman franchise again?

Gotham is currently filming in New York and will air sometime in the fall.
