Are you apart of a fandom? Do you like comic books, anime, gaming, and superheroes? Well good news! We do too! And that’s exactly why PopWrapped is headed to Louisville, KY this year for comic con!
Wizard World comic con is a three day event (March 28-30) packed full of guests from your favorite shows/movies as well as hundreds of vendors and cosplayers. This year, the guest line up is pretty spectacular. Special guests include Randy Orton, Michael Rooker, Summer Glau, Sean Astin, Jason Momoa, James Marsters, Jon Bernthal, and many many more, a list of which you can find here.
But the one’s that I am personally most excited about are…Matt Smith and Karen Gillan. Yes, The Doctor and Amy Pond will be together again, under one roof. I suppose I am most excited because I have been given the wonderful opportunity to meet Matt Smith and I am beside myself.
But you may be asking, what is there to do at a comic con? The answers are endless. You can scour the vendors for your favorite fandom tshirt/novelty as well as the amazing fan art booths. You can meet your favorite celebrities and even get their autographs! Or you could enter a cosplay competition and fight to win the coveted “best cosplay” award. But if none of that fancies you, you could simply enjoy being among hundreds of other people who enjoy the same things as you!
So if you haven’t bought tickets yet, you still have time! And if Louisville is too far for you, check out some of the others Wizard Cons around the country! But no matter where you are, keep up with PopWrapped as we cover the event from head to toe!
Are you going to Wizard World Louisville? We want to hear from you! Let us know!
