Channeling their inner Lion King, Jimmy Fallon and his guest Billy Joel decided to collaborate on a recreation of “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” for The Tonight Show.
Using a looper app for the iPad, the two were able to record the “aweema-wep” parts of the song and create an instant masterpiece.
The 2013 Kennedy Center Award recipient Billy Joel was guesting on the show to promote his Madison Square Garden performances currently going on in New York. In addition to that, starting on March 26th, Billy Joel will be getting his own channel on Sirius XM!
