Lady Gaga Debuts A Unique Storyline And Quirky Cameos In “G.U.Y.” Music Video

I may not be a “Little Monster”, but even I can appreciate Lady Gaga’s new music video for “G.U.Y.”

True to her style, the video is quirky but colorful.

It starts out with Gaga, clad in wings, lying on the ground surrounded by greedy businessmen after apparently being shot out of the sky. She then makes her way to Hearst Castle in California, where she is dipped in a pool (complete with synchronized swimmers) and reborn.

That’s when the Real Housewives come in as Gaga’s chorus. They come clad in pink and playing instruments in what is depicted as Ancient Greek festivities.

But that’s not the only celebrity cameo–Bravo host Andy Cohen appears singing in the clouds, apparently being praised as Zeus.

While I wasn’t 100% on what the plot was supposed to be, I love the song, and I adore Gaga for including synchronized swimmers in her video.

Overall, it was very creative, and went perfectly with her current ARTPOP theme.
