The mystery Ridley Scott project that has been under wraps has now been announced as science fiction movie Prometheus 2.
Prometheus 2 has landed Michael Green, the creative genius who wrote the script for Green Lantern and the new Blade Runner film. It was announced that Green is to rewrite Jack Paglen’s original script. The sci-fi flick may benefit from Green’s addition to the team as he has already said his aim is specifically to make the sequel more ‘Alien-y’. The film will star Michael Fassbender as multiple David 8 Synthetics. The film has been announced as Prometheus 2 but the title is sure to change.
If you enjoyed Scott’s ‘Alien,’ then Prometheus 2 is a must see! The sequel is rumoured to lead us up right to the beginning of ‘Alien’. Variety are now saying Ridley Scott may not direct, though he will produce film. Once Scott has released Exodus, this is said to be his next film.
The first film had mixed responses but the majority of reviews were only good. If you’re a real sci-fi nut, the wait for Prometheus 2 may be a long one, but hopefully it will be worth it!
Even though there is speculation on a release date, 20th Century Fox dated March 4, 2016.
