A month after announcing her engagement and subsequent pregnancy, 33-year-old Christina Aguilera has confirmed the gender of her baby. She and fiance, 29-year-old producer Matt Rutler, will be welcoming a little girl into their new family!

The on-again off-again Voice coach met her new baby daddy Rutler on the set of Burlesque in 2010, a few years after divorce from previous husband Jordan Bratman. The couple had one child together, 6-year-old Max.

The gender announcement was confirmed on March 28, while the performer was on stage at a thought-to-be-canceled  concert in Malaysia. Eventually, Xtina decided the commitment was too important to ignore in light of the recent airline tragedy that has struck the nation.

Malaysian Digest had reported that Aguilera would definitely be “covering up” for her concert in the predominantly Muslim country. Lest we forget  artists like The Pussycat Dolls who have garnered hefty fines for provocative outfits and choreography. Seems like an opportune time to coincidentally cover up a baby bump while respectfully performing for international fans!

A nod to her past (and a fun play in words to boot) Xtina tweeted a picture from backstage with the caption, “Ain’t no other fans… Thank you Malaysia for all the love & support! XoXtina.”

Prego or not, any woman would love to work that fitted blazer and sheer flowing skirt!
