On Monday evening, nine seasons of How I Met Your Mother will end, and we will finally find out how exactly Ted Mosby did find that mother.

But ahead of the excitement (and tearful goodbye, of course), the cast gathered for an interview on Inside The Actor’s Studio, where they showed once again how funny they truly are.

Most notably, the show included a spontaneous rendition of Les Miserables’ “Confrontation”, a duet that Jason Segel and Neil Patrick Harris knew by heart and had previously attempted back in 2006, before unfortunately being interrupted.

But there was much more! Host James Lipton asked about auditions, favourite scenes, least favourite words and sex for nickels, questions that were answered both in and out of character. It included kisses between cast members and a virtual cameo by Neil Patrick Harris’s twin children, and all sorts of insights that the HIMYM fan definitely wouldn’t want to miss!
