The trailer of Zach Braff’s latest film has arrived. The upcoming comedy drama, Wish I Was Here, that got started through Kickstarter (that also gave life to the Veronica Mars Movie) is directed, co-written and starring former Scrubs star Zach Braff.
The plot of the film follows Braff’s character a struggling actor, father, and husband who is trying to find a purpose in his life at age 35.
Wish I Was Here premiered earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, ten years after the premiere of Garden State, Braff’s debut film as a director.
The trailer features The Shins, a band whose music also featured in Garden State. Braff received a Grammy in 2005 for the soundtrack, which he put together.
Wish I Was Here releases on July 18, 2014.
