Nathan Fillion is strongly hinting that he’ll be making an appearance in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy. Last weekend at Wizard World Comic Con, Fillion was asked by a fan if he had wanted a part in the James Gunn directed film. Fillion replied:
“Wanting to get a part… or maybe did. I’m just saying maybe. Maybe you’ll be surprised. Maybe. Check the credits.”
This cryptic nudge is all it takes to get fans of Nathan Fillion excited. Best known in the nerd-verse for playing Captain Hammer in Doctor Horrible’s Sing-a-Long Blog and the iconic Captain Mal Reynolds in Firefly, he’s assembled a very dedicated fan base. He’s also been a part of two other James Gunn movies including Slither and Super.
Due to his commitments to Castle, it’s hard for him to find much time to do other projects, but it’s not hard to imagine him finding a few days off to be a part of something like this. Be sure to be on the look for Nathan come August 1 when Guardians of the Galaxy hits theaters.
