The Girl Meets World trailer is officially here, giving us even more of a reason to freak out about the new series! It’s short, but oh, so sweet!
The promo shows Riley (Rowan Blanchard), Cory and Topanga’s daughter, trying to sneak out the window when Cory catches her. By her side, of course, is Maya, the “Shawn Hunter” character to Riley.
When Cory catches them, Riley asks, “How long do I have to live in my father’s world?” Cory sweetly responds with, “Until you make it yours.” Aw!
We already have those heartfelt moments we were hoping for.
E! Online also reported that there will be several familiar faces from the original series, like Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter), along with Cory’s parents, Betsy Randle and William Russ, who will be in town for a special holiday episode. William Daniels will also be reprising his role of the wise and dependable Mr. Feeney in the pilot episode.
It looks like Minkus (Lee Norris) will be returning as well. Norris said, “I’ve had a great time being back on set with some of my old friends. It still amazes me how many people love and remember Minkus, and I’m excited for the fans to catch up with him after all these years.”
A date hasn’t been set, but we do know it will premiere on Disney Channel this summer!
