Postage stamps have been self-adhesive for years now, but that won’t stop some people from still wanting to lick the sexy new stamps available in Finland!

The Finnish postal service has made the bold move to celebrate the homoerotic works of late artist Tom of Finland (Touko Laaksonen) in a series of commemorative stamps.

Laaksonen, who enjoyed a career spanning almost forty years, became a fixture in the gay art scene with his depictions of well-muscled males often clad in skimpy leather fetish gear and engaging in bondage scenes.

Laaksonen’s artistic explorations of hyper-masculinity and homosexuality have made a worldwide impact and have been on display at the Museum of Contemporary Art in L.A., the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, and other renowned museums and galleries.

If you lived in Finland, would you be slapping one of these stamps on Grandma’s birthday card?
