Richard Donner AND Steven Spielberg!?

Okay, I have no doubt now that the original cast will be back!!!

After Richard Donner confirmed to TMZ that he was working on a Goonies sequel, many wondered exactly who else would climb aboard.

First on that list: writer and executive producer of the original, Steven Spielberg! It’s been confirmed that Spielberg will return and write the script for the highly anticipated sequel.

Considering Donner wants the entire original cast back on board, I’m guessing with Spielberg attached, that will be pretty easy to accomplish.

YES! YES! YES! YES!
