Woohoo! Things keep getting better and better for singer Christina Aguilera! Hot on the heels of the news of her engagement, second pregnancy, and potential replacement in Gwen Stefani on The Voice; Christina Aguilera breaks headlines yet again with a confirmation that she is indeed working on a brand new album. The former Mouseketeer announced the news rather nonchalantly last Saturday over Twitter :
So blissful in taking this time for creating all things blossoming new on the horizon…album, baby & beautiful music to come.

This, of course, issued massive fan response and overall excitement for the star to get back into the studio after a surprise resurgence for her career came in the form of last year’s Say Something by A Great Big World.
Two years after her latest record Lotus -which received rather mixed reviews mainly criticizing her voice and her unpleasant vocal surges- and regrettable collaborations such as Feel This Moment with hip-hop singer Pitbull, the time for new material has come.
It’s been an exciting transitional year thus far for Xtina, and it seems just about right that she’d be topping it all off with the release of a new album.
We can’t wait for our little genie to be let out of the bottle again. Let’s hope that this new LP will be more subtle and not heavily-produced like the previous one.
