Although half the girls across the world are still grieving after the news of George Clooney’s engagement, it looks like they’re not going to be at peace any time soon!

At a private dinner a couple of days ago, the newly engaged couple, George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin, were spotted basking in their newly engaged bliss, which the incredibly lucky Amal took as an opportunity to flaunt her engagement ring! The happy couple was spotted dining with close friends Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, celebrating Gerber’s birthday in Santa Barbara just a few days after the news of the engagement took the world by surprise.

In a couple of exclusive photos from PEOPLE magazine, the Oxford-alumnus has her hand lovingly draped across her fiance’s neck, allowing us to catch a glimpse of the beautiful ring. Allegedly co-designed by George Clooney himself, the ring has an emerald-cut diamond estimated at about 7 carats, and two tapered baguettes in a platinum setting.
