Meryl Davis is famous for ice dancing, but she’s been heating up the ballroom this season on Dancing With The Stars!

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, when asked if she had brought out a different side in Maksim Chmerkovsky, she giggled, “It’s definitely not me, Maks came into this season with a very different perspective. A calm perspective.”

Maks opens up about when he first met Meryl, “I thought somebody was going to come in and yank her back out and say ‘I’m sorry, you’re in the wrong room.  I felt like I was given an opportunity to do something different and I’m attempting different things, like voicing what’s on the inside.”

Kit Hoover and Billy Bush teased the ballroom couple, asking, “What’s going on here?  We’ve seen the pictures of you out to lunch and guiding her in the door… Does the chemistry in the ballroom translate into real life?”

Davis, who won gold in Sochi, comments, “Maks is a true gentleman and he’s an amazing partner and I think we’ve developed an amazing friendship.”

Maks chimes in, saying, “There is a lot of kissing going on, on stage.”  When asked about off stage, Maks jokes, “Y’know we just eat a lot.”

Meryl giggles her way through the interview, easily blushing.  I don’t know about you guys, but I’m siding with Kit & Billy, there is definitely something going on between Meryl and Maks! Check out the interview yourself, and let us know what you think!
