Rebel Wilson has become quite the unique comedic voice! Since her breakout role in Pitch Perfect, the Australian star has had quite a few projects lined up for the future. Recently, Wilson announced that she will star in the remake of the classic 1980 comedy, Private Benjamin.
The original film starred Goldie Hawn as a woman who enlists in the army after her newly-wed husband dies. The modern remake will star Wilson as a redneck woman who joins the army alongside a socialite rich girl.
No other casting announcements have been made, nor is a director committed to the project.
