Harry Potter fans, it’s time to shop until the Dementors drop at Diagon Alley!
Diagon Alley, the latest addition to Universal Orlando’s The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, will lift its veil of secrecy this summer. Best of all, twenty-five lucky wizards and their guests will witness the wonders for free! NBC’s Today Show is sponsoring the all-expenses-paid contest, and the program will broadcast live from the grand opening.
Diagon Alley, modeled after the hub of magical commerce in the books and films, will feature a slew of new attractions including the Knight Bus, the frightening Knockturn Alley, and several shops with plenty of magical goodies ready to pull a disappearing act with your Galleon, Sickle, and Knut.
Diagon Alley will also feature “Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts”, a brand new ride which the park describes as a “multi- sensory, multi-dimensional experience which brings the movies to life”.
Visit the official Wizarding World website for more on the Diagon Alley expansion and hit the Today Show page to enter the contest starting May 13th!
Good luck, PopWrappers! If you win, bring us back a time-turner or two!
