More good news for the fans of the BBC show, Broadchurch, Charlotte Rampling has joined the cast for season 2.
Executive producer, Chris Chibnall, said, “Charlotte Rampling! We’ve been keeping this secret for months, it’s been agony! We have another big story to tell this year, and that meant finding exceptional actors for new roles. There’s none more exceptional than Charlotte: to be writing for her is a dream come true. As you can imagine, Charlotte’s character is an integral part of our new story — but that’s where we’re drawing a veil, for now…”
Charlotte Rampling is well known for her roles in The Verdict, Melancholia, and most recently as Doctor Evelyn Vogel in season eight of Dexter.
David Tennant, Olivia Colman, and Arthur Darvill has also confirmed they will be returning for the second season.
Gracepoint, Broadchurch’s American counterpart, will premiere on Fox in the fall, and recently released a promotional trailer for the series.
