The latest Disney movie Frozen is making its way from the big screen to the ice rink. Frozen has been selected as the next movie to hit the Disney on Ice stage. Frozen has become the highest grossing animated movie with over $1.2 billion worldwide. This ice production of Frozen is said to feature over 39 performers and over 20 different snow machines to make the movie come to life for audience participates.
John Lasseter, director of Toy Story, now Chief Creative Officer says, “It means so much to us that they’re creating the show with all of the heart, humour and beauty of Frozen that audiences fell in love with.” Robert A Iger also tells The Guardian that, “You can expect us to take full advantage of that over the next five years, I would guess.”
It definitely looks like Disney On Ice Presents Frozen is going to be good. The show begins September 5th in Florida and the show is expected to move worldwide.
