The BBC set Whovian’s heart’s pounding, when it announced via Twitter that series 8 of Doctor Who will air in August this year.
They also released a 16 second teaser trailer which features Peter Capaldi silhouetted against an exploding TARDIS interior, suggesting that this Doctor is going to be a much darker (and explosive) character, than newer audiences are perhaps used to.
I for one, can’t wait. Geronimo!
