Obviously an average white wedding just is not cool enough, and this self-declared “geeky” couple proved it!

This husband and wife pair, Meredith Fahey and Joshua Votaw, brought to life the world created by J. K. Rowling, all for their wedding day, and we have a chance to share in the magical moments!

While falling in love with each other, this couple realized their mutual love for Harry Potter, and now we’ve come full circle; here we are enjoying the pictures from this very magical day!

“We are both huge Harry Potter fans. We have enjoyed many midnight screenings of the movies together, as well as reading them out loud to each other, one of our favourite activities,” said Fahey.

For all the details, the bride and groom had family members and friends help prepare for the big day! After hours and hours of planning the two knew exactly what they wanted to make this very Harry Potter-themed wedding come alive!

“Our vision was that it would be a wedding that could take place within the Harry Potter universe, which we think added to the classic look, helping us stay clear of the cheesy factor,” Fahey said.

If snacking on Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour beans, the Hogwarts cake, and all the wands weren’t Harry Potter enough for you, don’t worry there’s even more: the bridesmaids in their house colours, the Platform 9 ¾ programs, the wait staff wearing S.P.E.W badges, the flaming Goblet of Fire and even Snape officiating their wedding is sure to meet your standards!
