Looks like Lil Kim’s bun in the oven said it was time for the “The Jump Off”!
At 9:58 am today, June 9th, Kim gave birth to a healthy baby girl. The 39-year-old rapper chose to add to the lengthy list of unique celebrity baby names by bestowing upon her child one worthy of royalty. Literally.
Royal Reign (yes, quite the presumptuous title) weighed in at 6 pounds 5 ounces and measured 19.5 inches long. Though unconfirmed by Kim, the baby’s father is reportedly New York-based rapper Mr. Papers.
This is the first child for Lil Kim, which she not-so-shockingly announced while caressing her rather noticeable baby-bump at a New York City Fashion Week after-party in February. In May, the rapper was quoted as saying she didn’t need any gifts from her baby shower attendees, however the invitation laughably read to the contrary.
