Have you had doubts about Metal Gear V: The Phantom Pain because of Ground Zeroes?
If you were ever a true Metal Gear fan, throw them right out of the metaphorical window.
Why? Because The Phantom Pain looks bloody fantastic, that’s why; and that fact was validated more than ever during a sweeping epic, 5-minute-long cinematic trailer released by Konami yesterday during E3.
In the video, Punished Snake goes about proving why the new moniker fits him so well as a series of traumatic events unfurl before your very eyes. It’s all very hard to truly describe without seeing the video for yourself because of just how darn amazing it is. It’s just one of those moments where you have to see it to believe it!
The Phantom Pain will be one of the best titles of the year, bar-none, and this trailer pretty much begins the process of proving why that is.
