Yesterday, news broke that a potential 3rd sequel to the 90’s films Father of the Bride was in the works, and that it would see stars Steve Martin and Diane Keaton return.
The rumor begun after Nikki Finke, former Editor-in-Chief of Deadline.com broke the news. It was also being reported that it would focus on a gay wedding.
Steve himself squashed the rumors when he took to his Twitter page:

Let us keep in mind, never did he actually say that he wouldn’t do it.
So let’s keep our fingers crossed. Oh, and they’ll get Martin Short back, too, right?
