If you sit back and REALLY listen to these lyrics, you’ll probably understand why I was a sobbing mess the first time I listened to it.
New Zealand duo Broods have spent quite some time prepping the release of their debut LP Evergreen, and have now given us all one gut-wrenching, perfect single titled “Mother & Father”.
The building number hits very hard when you really listen to the lyrics with the chorus growing from “I don’t want to wake up lonely, I don’t want to just be fine”. The song is an emotional powerhouse that see’s Georgia’s vocals really shine.
Georgia and Caleb have crafted quite the masterpiece here. The brother/sister duo should see global success with this single.
Absolutely MAGICAL.
