Adventure Time! Come on grab your friends! And what friends to grab indeed! While in Australia for Supanova, I got to sit down with Olivia Olson who plays Marceline and Jessica Dicicco who plays Flame Princess in the popular show Adventure Time.
The girls were both super nice and we had a lot of fun drawing their respective characters (for a packet of TimTams). A lot of people don’t know that Olivia is the young girl Joanna from the film Love Actually who sang “All I Want For Christmas.” Jess also is the voice of Olette from Kingdom Hearts II. I don’t know about you but my mind was blown finding out these facts!
There is only one thing more fun than interviewing beautiful people, and that is messing with tourists! A popular joke us Australians play on foreigners is to watch out for ‘Hoop Snakes’ and ‘Drop Bears.’ Describing what these terrifying creatures can do and the look on their faces was priceless (We Australians have a warped sense of humor).
