The much anticipated sequel to The Avengers has gotten another cast addition.
Age of Ultron, due in cinemas during summer of next year, will now feature Andy Serkis in an unknown role. The actor was already linked with the film, with his motion-capture company The Imaginarium, but will now be involved in front of the camera as well as behind it.
When asked about details of his role, Serkis said, “I’m not at liberty to mention. But it’s all the same to me. I’ve never drawn a distinction when playing a role, whether it be live action or performance capture.”
Serkis didn’t want to give away much about what he would be doing in the film but added, “Acting is acting. It’s just basically what you wear to the set that’s different.”
Serkis joins the original cast from the first Avengers film and will be seen with other additions to the cast, including Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, and James Spader.
