Better Call Saul got that much better when Breaking Bad producer Peter Gould confirmed to NY Daily News the spinoff series will take place before, during, and after Breaking Bad! Meaning there will hopefully be more Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) sightings!

Gould shared his thoughts on the matter, “One of the great things about having a time line which is flexible is that perhaps some of it takes place before ‘Breaking Bad,’ during ‘Breaking Bad,’ and after ‘Breaking Bad.’ That gives us the ability to bring back characters that were killed on ‘Breaking Bad.’”

Oh, the possibilities of characters are endless! I mean, it seems like they killed someone off every other episode! However, Gould was quick to point out that Better Call Saul is going to have its own identity and contrast from its father show, Breaking Bad, “We want to make a show that stands on it own, is its own story and is a brand extension. We think we have a story that is worth making. … We could never dream of the kind of success that ‘Breaking Bad’ had and the love we got from the fans. But, at a certain point you have to do the best job you can and tell the best story that entertains you, get a good response and hope people like it.”

Are you ready for Better Call Saul yet? I know I am! Look for it to premier in early 2015.
