Theatre Mania is well aware how busy Kristin Chenoweth is at the moment, but they were able to gain a little bit of her free time and asked a few questions related to her current plans as well as what her future may hold for her.

In the interview she kept expressing her excitement for her international fans to experience her show, adding just one more point on her bucket list that she can now tick off.

Kristin Chenoweth is excited to be singing pieces from her past tour in 2012, new songs and some recognizable tunes from Wicked. She explained that there may also be some duets, and that an announcement concerning collaborations with British singers will be soon.

Her Broadway return in On the Twentieth Century thrills the singer and actress too, because she believes that is a challenge for her and a great role that she is going to play. The fact that it’s the first time audiences are going to see the show it in 40 years sure helps the excitement build!

Having won an Emmy for her brilliant performance on Pushing Daisies, she says she would love to perform again, as she wasn’t given the chance to really say good bye to  the show since it ended over Christmas break. Therefore, Chenoweth says, she would indeed be interested in doing a musical version of it.

Having performed “Popular” first brought to the world through the musical Wicked in various languages by now, Kristin Chenoweth states that the French, Italian and German versions are not hard for her to pronounce. However though, the German version always makes her laugh, as “it sounds so harsh” and so “opposite from the song”. However, Japanese is the hardest language for her to sing it in, as it has many phonetic challenges throughout the song.

Are you as happy for the amazing performer as we are? Are you going to one of her her concerts? Be sure to keep everyone posted about your experience on PopWrapped and ENJOY!
