Actress Gina Gershon is leaving the big screen behind and taking on a guest role on the television series, Elementary. The show, a modern-day take on Sherlock Holmes, will feature Gershon as the rival to Dr. Joan Watson, played by Lucy Liu.
Gershon’s character, Elana March, is a socialite who is suspected of running a drug cartel. Watson, in true form, will set out to prove March’s guilt, but before too long, the case will become personal.
Gershon’s will air as the season premiere of Elementary on Thursday, October 30th on CBS.
