Well, apparently $30,000 is money well spent if it gives you the chance to look like Kim Kardashian.
Claire Leeson revealed to ITV’s This Morning that she has spent close to $30,000 in order to look like the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality star. Leeson recalls being inspired to be like Kim in 2009 while she was going through some heavy bullying. After being told by friends that she bared a resemblance to the reality star, she realized just how much she had in common with her, thus sparking her makeover goals.
“I’ve had my teeth whitened, then I had my boobs enhanced,” admitted Leeson to This Morning hosts Ben Shephard and Ruth Langsford. “I also wear bum padding, pants with silicon inside.”
In addition to her surgeries, Leeson spent thousands of dollars on makeup, clothing, and spray tanning sessions. All these heavy makeovers have come at a heavy price, one that Leeson can’t pay.
“I’ve used credit cards to pay for everything. I’m in major debt,” the Kim Kardashian look-a-like confessed. “I say that I’m going to pay them but as soon as money comes in I just think about getting my Kimmy on.” Despite the debt, Leeson is now happier and feels like she has “built enough confidence to love [herself] a little bit more.”
Keeping yourself happy is all that matters, in this case, even if you don’t agree with her.
