Although, Glee is about the lives and events of the New Directions, fans all across the world can relate to the Fox hit show however, its all fictional.

While on his The Land Of Stories 3: A Grimm Warning book tour, Chris Colfer (who plays Kurt Hummel on the show) talked to EntertainThis about the fans and how they have reacted to the show throughout the years.

“A lot of the (TV) audience think Glee is a documentary. There’s a very select group of young girls that really want everything to be real.”

Colfer also stated about the fans writing fan fiction: “I don’t look at that, because it’s terrifying. It’s scary. I just. I can’t. I learned that the hard way,” he says. “I don’t mind them writing about the character, but when they write about (the Glee actors) doing things with each other, it’s just uncomfortable.”

Despite his recent twitter account hack, Chris will definitely be returning for the sixth and final season of Glee which has been down to 13 episodes. Colfer stated that now that the order is cut in half, writers can “focus on the story lines” of the main characters we have all fell in love with.

Gleeks will have to wait til 2015 to see their loveable show choir kids again but until then pick up Chris’ books The Land Of Stories now where books are sold.
