Joel McHale is much like the Community fandom in the fact that he also wants six seasons and a movie.

While the show, which was cut from NBC after five years on the network, has been picked up by Yahoo! Screen, McHale knows that a film would have to be epic for it to be made.

Talking to Digital Spy he said, “My only stipulation with the movie would be that it has to be epic. It can’t be like [another] episode, it has to be big. If we’re gonna have a movie, it’s gotta knock your socks off.”

During his interview he said the show could go on further than its sixth season, but then that would be messing with the shows hashtag. Love to know what the marketing team would then come up with, as #sevenseasonsandamovie doesn’t have the same ring to it.
