The hit TV show Glee has supposedly been stealing a comedy club chain’s name in England, which now leads to the crazy news that the favorite series of so many people has to change its name for those who are watching in the UK. There’s only one season left, why can’t they just let it be?!
After Comic Enterprises had sued Twentieth Century Fox telling them to re-name the show and Judge Roger Wyand decided that, because of the “likelihood of confusion”, Twentieth Century Fox has to work in favor of Comic Enterprises. Although Fox tried to argue, the final statement is that “Glee” has to go and the company has to pay an interim amount of 100,000 pounds (roughly $170,000) because of damages; however, the final amount has yet to be decided on by the judges.
