Hey, I’m actually okay with this, but remember the uproar when Carrie Underwood snagged the role of Maria in The Sound of Music?

Exactly.

NBC has just announced that Girls star Allison Williams will don the green tights to play Peter Pan in the live musical set to air on December 4th.

Pan is usually portrayed by a woman in the live performances, more notably by Tony and Emmy winning star Mary Martin.

Christopher Walken was previously announced to play Hook in the upcoming special.
