Toby Keith can definitely sing “How Do You Like Me Now?” to anyone who thought he would never make it in the music business.
The 53-year-old singer, who released his 17th album last year, was just named the highest paid Country music artist in the U.S.
Keith’s $65 million income gained him the top spot in the annual Forbes list for the second year in a row. He may have to step up his game to keep his position next year, though. Crossover Country/Pop princess Taylor Swift, who trailed Keith by $10 million last year, is now hot on his spurs in second place this year with $64 million.
Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, and Luke Bryan took home the third, fourth, and fifth positions with earnings of $44 million, $37 million, and $34 million respectively.
Now that’s a whole lot of beer money, Yee-Haw!
