Amidst all of the drama surrounding the Marvel Cinematic Universe over these past couple of days, one thing about the franchise is dead certain: the folks down at MCU sure know how to make darned good movies.
While Guardians of the Galaxy is eating up its new-found, well-deserved fame in the current moment, one can’t forget the greatness that was Captain America: The Winter Soldier earlier this year. Throwing a bone to dedicated fans of the film, Marvel decided to unleash two deleted scenes from the movie unto the Internet. Each of them run a little over a minute long and show just how deep HYDRA really had gotten themselves into the S.H.I.E.L.D. base of operations.
Perhaps most prominently featured is Cobie Smulders’ character, Agent Maria Hill. Keep in mind that it won’t be long until we see Hill kicking butt on the silver screen yet again as she is set for her return in Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, currently slated for a May 1, 2015 release in theaters across America!
