What a shame. Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer took to twitter to announce that she is in fact leaving her husband Mario after 20 years of marriage, in the midst of his alleged affairs.
Singer tweeted earlier today (August 7):
I have decided to move on with my life without Mario. I tried my best to make my marriage work. I am excited for the new chapter in my life.

The reality stars’ tumultuous marriage has been in the press for some time now, after photos surfaced of Mario with another mystery blonde, rumored to be one of his flings. The two seemingly reconciled, noting that they had to try for their daughter Avery, who has now left for college.
This week, the Real Housewives of New York reunion aired its second part, and the relationship status was almost completely dismissed by Singer, who repeatedly told host Andy Cohen and fellow housewives, “I want this closed down.”
Cohen then transitioned to ask about the support she’d received, which resulted in a clearly-irritated Ramona to question his own love life, mockingly saying “So, how’s your love life? Who are you going to have sex with tonight?”
But it was Cohen who put things in perspective to the Pinot-infused housewife by responding, “I’ll tell you when I go on a reality show.”
It is currently unknown if Ramona or any of the previous NYC housewives will return for another season, but with Ramona’s current situation, it’s hard to believe she won’t be asked back for at least one more season of the Bravo series.
