Game Of Thrones’ Sophie Turner, who portrays Sansa Stark in the HBO blockbuster, has landed the lead role in an upcoming biopic about Frankenstein author Mary Shelley, entitled Mary Shelley’s Monster.
War Horse‘s Jeremy Irvine has been cast as the English writer’s husband, Percy Shelley, and American Horror Story‘s Taissa Farmiga as her adoptive sister, Claire Clairmont.
Coky Giedroyc helms the project as director. His past accomplishments include popular TV series The Killing and American Horror Story. The production team consists of Rose Ganguzza, J. Todd Harris, Damon Lane, and Marc Marcum.
“Our film is not a period drama. It is a story of youth that transcends time, a gothic romance, a love triangle that involves a dark passenger, and we are tremendously excited to have such an exciting cast onboard this wonderful project,” Ganguzza said.
