Pop Idol alum, Josh Gracin had his fans and media outlets concerned when he seemed to post a suicide note on Facebook. It read:
“I’ve loved her for 17 years,” he wrote in the post, likely referring to his wife, Ann Marie. “I made mistakes… I admitted them, told her the truth and she turned her back on me when I needed her help the most… Please remember me as someone who gave his all in his music… Pray for my family as they carry on in this world without me. Goodbye.”
According to TMZ, a family member then rushed to his home to find his wife, but no sign of the singer. The police located him driving and he was sent to the nearest hospital where he was seen to and then discharged.
Gracin’s manager took over his Twitter page to report, “Thank you everyone for your prayers & concern. Josh is safe & with his family now. I promise to update soon.”
Josh placed fourth on the second series of Idol and was the first to have success in the country scene. He has three daughters and a son, aged from 9 to 12.
