It’s been a BIG week so far for Taylor Swift:
Not only did she host a massive live stream Q&A with Yahoo, but during that she revealed the name of her new album, the release date, her new single AND the accompanying video!
And for all of you holding out for a return to country music, you’re going to be highly disappointed.
Completely striking away, Taylor has announced that her new album 1989 (which will be released October 27th) will be very reminiscent of “80’s pop.” So, it appears she’s finally putting her country days behind her.
Now we need to discuss lead single “Shake It Off.”
The bouncy pop number finds Taylor shaking off her haters, and it didn’t take long for the single to skyrocket on iTunes and nab the #1 spot. And as for the video? Well, we all know Taylor has been known for her awards show dancing and that is displayed in all its glory in the hilarious music video that finds Swifty taking on different styles of dance.
