Bryan Cranston To Produce NBC’s ‘The Dangerous Book For Boys’

Bryan Cranston, most recently known for his role as Walter White on Breaking Bad, has signed on with NBC to produce The Dangerous Book For Boys.

The man has just won his sixth Emmy.

His four acting wins for Breaking Bad put him in the record books for being tied as the all-time winner in the Drama Actor category, alongside Dennis Franz. Now seems Bryan Cranston is going back to where his career started – comedy. He is producing an NBC comedy based on the book The Dangerous Book for Boys.

Cranston has had his eyes set on this project for a while now, but NBC has picked it up. The show has been described as “an irreverent family comedy about three teenage boys who are given a dad’s guide to living lives full of adventure after he passes away”.

This show signifies something very interesting for Cranston, as it brings his highly acclaimed career full-circle in a way, as his first notable role was that of Dr. Tim Whatley on Seinfeld. Cranston will be serving as the executive producer of the series, while Clear History director Greg Mottola will serve as the writer and director of the series.

There is currently no confirmed air-date for the show.
