GRL’s “Ugly Heart” Rises On UK Chart Following Simone Battle’s Tragic Death

In the wake of GRL member Simone Battle’s death, who was found dead from an apparent suicide, the girl groups single “Ugly Heart” has risen to the 11th spot on the UK chart.

The remaining ladies of GRL released a statement regarding Simone’s death, saying that “words cannot express the depth of our loss” as well that “we will carry her memory with us in everything we do.”

Simon Cowell also released a statement about Simone, after he had discovered her on the US version of X Factor. He called her death “such a loss.”
