Well, now celebrities know that if they want to get away from crazy fans and the paparazzi, just go to Target.
In the new drama Cake, Jennifer Aniston’s character is extremely made under as a woman suffering from chronic pain. She is also sporting a pretty nasty scar on her face. During a night shoot, Aniston and her co-stars decided to make a trip to Target– while still in character.
“We were shooting a night shoot…and we decided what the hell, let’s strut on into this Target and see what happens,” Aniston told E!’s Marc Malkin at Cake‘s premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. “Nobody recognized me! It was pretty awesome.”
Not only did people not recognize her, but they felt a little bit of sympathy.
“Actually, people felt sorry for me more than anything,” Aniston said.
Directed by Daniel Barnz, Cake co-stars Sam Worthington as a man whom Aniston befriends after his wife (Anna Kendrick) commits suicide.
The premiere screening received a standing ovation.
