And on we continue with the Hollywood Baby Boom!
Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes announced in delight in July that their little baby genetic winner was on the way.
Turns out they are excellent secret keepers, because Baby Mendes-Gosling has arrived.
Even more surprising is that the news only reached the wider world today (September 16), as their bound to be beautiful baby girl actually arrived on Friday.
Mendes and Gosling first began dating in fall 2011 after co-starring in The Place Beyond the Pines. That same year, Gosling told UK newspaper The Times that he would “make movies until I make babies”.
Of course, there was much speculation over the last few months about the pregnancy; Mendes even laughed off the rumors on The Ellen Show. However, once the news broke in July, the couple kept their heads down and Mendes even went to considerable lengths to hide her baby bump.
Reportedly, Gosling—being the gent that he is—doted on Eva and even went out to get the groceries and cooked her meals.
All together now: Awwww.
Seriously though, in this day and age to be able to keep the secret for so long is wonderful for them and rather impressive. Kudos to the pair.
The couple are said to be delighted, and can we blame them?
