The Trailer For ‘Final Fantasy XV’ Has Finally Arrived–And The Graphics Are Incredible

If you’re a hardcore gamer like myself, a year and a half seems like a lifetime.  That’s exactly how long it has been since any news about SquareEnix’s next Final Fantasy installment, until now.

At the beginning of the Tokyo Game Show 2014, the new trailer for Final Fantasy XV has been released, and oh my–the graphics are incredible.

Now before we begin, I will confess that I’m a HUGE fan of the Final Fantasy series.  This was one of my first RPG’s I played when I was but a wee little gamer and ever since the first installment was released, I’ve purchased and played every single Final Fantasy out there…man, that sounds so sad.

Anyway, the trailer depicts the “quieter” side of the game and shows a brief car ride around world events, giving gamers a taste of the visually artistic scenery of the game.  In addition, it also shows some of the battle scenes, which seems somewhat similar to the battle style of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

This trailer seems to focus a little more on the story side of things. Maybe SqaureEnix is going for something different in this FF installment. Lately, though, it seems SE has been sacrificing good Final Fantasy plot lines for eye-appealing graphics.

Who knows, maybe this installment will be a combination of an attention-grabbing plot line AND beautiful HD graphics, but only time will tell.
