Glee is currently preparing for its sixth season to premiere on Fox. The upcoming season is set to be the final one for the hit television series, so a lot of former stars are returning to the show. According to new reports, the latest name to be added to the list is that of NeNe Leakes.
The star played Coach Roz Washington, who we first met back in the third season. She’s the coach of synchronised swimming at the McKinley high school and was seen taking the lead of the Cheerios from Sue. After winning the Nationals, she was allowed to keep her place. The actress is now set to reprise the role in at least one episode of the forthcoming season, scheduled to be filmed early in October. However, Fox refused to confirm the news.
Leakes was introduced to us on The Real Housewives Of Atlanta and has since turned to acting, most recently starring in Ryan Murphy’s The New Normal. Her return to Glee will follow those of Heather Morris, Mark Salling, Dianna Agron, Jenna Ushkowitz, Jayma Mays and Max Adler.
Glee‘s sixth season is expected to premiere on Fox in early 2015.
