Now this Dad has dramatic flair.

Not satisfied with just telling his two sons the good news, Poul Hjortbøl, who had just won 15 million kroner ($2.7 million) in a lottery in his native Denmark, decided to up the ante by slowly revealing the details to his sons.

The single father starts with, “It isn’t easy for me to say this — I would like to say that I have quit my job” , then begins to tell them that he has won some money. Starting out small, he lets the joy sink in with his sons, then after a while tells them that there is more, then reveals a larger amount while simultaneously giving gifts to the two young men.

As a parent, he was most probably enjoying the moment of giving immense joy to his children, and drawing it out probably intensified the glee the sons were feeling. So good on you, Poul!

This all occurred in 2011, but the video was just uploaded last Monday (Sept. 22) and has since gone viral. Since then, Poul is reported to have invested some of the money in a Danish dating website. So he is still doing well.
