You can head to your closest location of one of these chains to get your free beverage. Screw getting the kids to school, it’s coffee that gets us adults up and the ball rolling!
Dunkin Donuts is giving free medium-size Dark Roast coffee today and today only, then goes 99 cents for the remainder of the week. Not too shabby.
At Krispy Kreme (THEY STILL EXIST!) grab yourself a free 12-ounce Dark Roast, Decaf or House coffee. If you are too mainstream for those average “Joes” for just $1 upgrade to a mocha, latte or iced coffee.
Tim Hortons is selling regular size regular and dark roast coffee for just $1 and Kangaroo Express is selling 12-ounce coffees for just a penny, but only at their Southeast chains.
McDonalds all small coffees are free during normal breakfast hours. So you can enjoy a nice Big Mac with a coffee at 6am if you’re feeling daring – or don’t care about cholesterol like myself.
Now, as far as completely no strings attached free coffee, head over to The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. They are literally giving away hot and iced coffee. Also Peet’s Coffee & Tea is having a buy-one-get-one free deal all day on drinks that aren’t bottled or juice.
Finally, we have the Hipster crazed Starbucks on the list. Wait, Starbucks is actually GIVING something away for free? Well sadly, it is only free samples of its Ethiopia Blend…way to be Starbucks. Way to be.
It’s this type of holiday that brings a joyful tear to my eye and a bright smile on my wallet. Now if only they had a free babysitting day – I’d be set!
